Wesleigh Orr, our karting legend with four world final victories under his helmet. He kicked off his epic karting career at just seven years old and has a whopping four European Championships, nine South African Championships, and a couple of world titles to flaunt.
He received his junior and senior Protea colours as well as being named the most successful Rotax Karting driver between 2006 and 2012. Oh, and did we mention he won his first world champion title at the young age of 14.
Wesleigh has revved up the engines on bigger race circuits like Formula VW, Formula Renault and represented South Africa in the A1GP circuit.
Bringing 28 years of motorsport experience and a wide variety of motorsport knowledge to the team, Wesleigh brings a passion and dedication for the sport like no other.
His mission is crystal clear: to rocket his drivers to the top of the podium, and help them become the champions of their competition.

Tate Bishop
Tate is a pure inspiration and training guru to the youngsters. At only 17 , he already has 5 Provincial Karting Titles and 3 National Karting Championships to his name, along with Provincial and Protea Colours for Motorsport. He has raced extensively abroad winning 2 World Final tickets to represent SA as well as the FIA-CIK Academy seat for South Africa.
Still strutting his karting stuff for fitness and sharpness, Tate is making waves on the main circuit after a hugely successful 2 years in VW Polo Cup in his new VW SupaCup GTC which was his weapon of choice for in 2023 winning ‘Driver of the Year’. 2024 will see him back into the GTC SupaCup for the Extreme Festival National rounds as well as the karting circuits around SA alongside our drivers.
This young Champion is a key expert coach for advanced driver techniques and the youngsters adore him, as well as leading our E-sports driving teams. You will find him on track racing with our drivers giving them race craft skills and training they could never get anywhere else.

JARRYD NOVEMBER
Jarryd has been involved in Karting for 16 years having started in SAKRA under the guidance of Wesleigh Orr in his most successful season. His natural progression from Karting was to compete on the main circuit where he completed a season and a half in the GTI Challenge.
After burning rubber on the track, he developed an obsession with mastering the ins and outs of karting. Now, nine years later, he's a karting guru, offering expert training and technical tips to racers looking to rev up their skills.
Jarryd’s got some serious bragging rights! Nabbing the 2018 SA mini max championship with his driver, Kyle Visser, jet-setted off to Brazil for a World Final and winning both WPMC Rotax and Rok Regional Championships in that same year
Jarryd is like a turbo-charged booster rocket, super passionate about helping young drivers zoom towards their motorsport dreams, all while having fun doing so.

JOHN-HENRI VAUGHAN
John-Henri started his motorsport career on the Killarney kart circuit .
Now, a regular front runner in the GTi Challenge racing series and one of SA’s best Esports drivers for ANGRi Esports, John-Henri brings a wealth of on-track and online driving expertise to our drivers.
You will spot him quietly watching the youngsters on training and race days, taking note of every line taken, braking and acceleration points. With a very cool and calm demeanour, John-Henri is a vital addition to the coaching and mentorship team for our youngsters and a very expert race-day engineer.

THANDO MNYANDA
A Karting expert since 2000, Thando has worked all around the world with many Teams and Drivers.
He is officially the fastest African ever to change tyres in 27s (World Finals) and has not lost his touch!.
Thando is more than just a qualified RACING ENGINEER, he is also an expert Driver Trainer with an unrivaled knowledge of Race set-up, Carb Tuning and Chassis setup and has enjoyed winning success with his drivers at every kart circuit in SA..
With Thando (or Thandoliscious as he is affectionately called;) at the Academy... it is 'win or nothing' (He only drinks Fanta out of Trophies)!s.

CLINTON BEZUIDENHOUT
A Karting WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP title, Multiple Regional, African Open and National Kart Championships to his name, Clinton is one of SA’s finest kart and main circuit racing champions.
With a 2022 Polo Cup National Championship in the bag and racing at the front of Gti Challenge in 2024, Clinton brings a wealth of World Class karting motorsport experience to the drivers at the ANGRi WORR Kart Academy.
Enhanced driver skills, race winning race-craft, in-depth data analysis and race temperament training are just a handful of the valuable skillsets Clinton brings to our Academy drivers during training days as well as race days.

KAI VAN ZIJL
Kai Van Zijl brings 11 years of race winning karting experience to the ANGRi WORR Kart Academy.
Kai has raced everything on the kart circuit and has had a very successful racing career from Bambino class all the way through to Senior max. Now smashing it on the main circuit in his Class A GTi Challenge car, Kai brings a wealth of knowledge and driver training expertise to our young team throughout the weekday training sessions and race days (both home and away).
Kai’s very calm and empathetic training approach to our younger developing drivers is incredible, quickly developing their on-track skill-sets through extensive data analysis and building racing confidence and kart set-up to hit the podiums!

JEANDRE BUCHNER
Jeandre began his journey in the karting industry roughly five years ago. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated growth and maturity, exhibiting a strong work ethic driven by his passion for the industry. Jeandre's eagerness to learn and develop his skills has not gone unnoticed.
Working alongside the experienced Wesleigh Orr, Jeandre has acquired invaluable knowledge and expertise, making him a valuable asset to our team and helps lead the mechanical teams in our goals for karting excellence and the very best kart set-ups.

BRENTON GREGORY
Brenton has been involved in motorsport for 35 years, primarily in drifting and part of the Red Bull team. A wealth of International experience in driving, coaching and Event coordination, he brings unrivalled back-room expertise to the entire ANGRi WORR Kart Academy and our ANGRi Racing main circuit teams.
Brenton is based at ANGRi Racing HQ in Rivergate Park where all of our Sparco, Arai, Esports, Mylaps, Jecko and -Minus273 stuff lives, but is often seen down at the karting and main circuits offering guidance, race engineering and logistical support to the team and the drivers.

DUANE VAN SCHALKWYK
Duane is our technical guru in our Esports Sim Racing and Rig development division. A genius in the virtual world and all things ‘online racing’.
As an expert online racer and hardware expert, Duane brings an important element to the Academy for off-circuit driver development and training alongside our Esports teams. Look for our incredible new range of ANGRi Racing Sim Rigs available in our SHOP. Duane will be helping all of our drivers to set up their equipment to prepare for all of the SA Nationals and Worldwide circuits from the comfort of their own bedrooms.
